In 2007, Wisconsin Environment Research & Policy Center became the new home of Wisconsin Public Interest Research Group (WISPIRG) Education Fund's environmental work, focusing exclusively on protecting Wisconsin's air, water and open spaces.

Drawing on more than 30 years of experience, our professional staff combines independent research, practical ideas and effective educational campaigns to overcome the opposition of special interests and win real results for Wisconsin's environment.

Wisconsin Environment Research & Policy Center has been a leader on key environmental issues in Wisconsin, including cleaning up water pollution, finding solutions for global warming and instituting a clean energy policy.
